The resigned head of Social Security has stated that what Musk has done to the Social Security System will cause the payments to become erratic. They will then use this to privatize the system. The worst would be that the Trump administration will say the country cannot afford to pay for Social Security.
I believe that if Social Security is halted or reduced, that will make survival impossible for millions of Americans. This I think will cause a revolt that would be totally justified.
We need to stop the assault on our country yes there is waste but the approach by DOGE is not the way to fix things.
